I was browsing through The Ultimate street style blog- The Satorialist- and just once again fell completely, naively and unconditionally in love with Italian men. Their sense of style that is. For me they are the embodiment of smart-casual-effortless dressing. Yes, that is one word as I recall. And I'm always thrilled when Scott photographs in Milan.
Now all I can think about is linen button-ups with rolled up sleeves and unbuttoned just as low as your ego allows you without shame (and say, how charming are those wrinkles in those shirts? Probably as charming as is a charming prince on a white horse), slouchy khaki chinos, a chunky watch and a pair of white converse sneakers. Be still my heart!
And for a more feminine take...

Yesterday, on a sunny morning near Holland Park station a guy, dressed as these ultimately stylish and sexy men - white shirt with 3 opened buttons which revealed a side of his hairy masculine chest & nice blue chinos - walked past me. He might not have been Italian, but for sure he was hot stuff.
ReplyDeleteHot, tanned, fit and ready? As you like to say, right?
DeleteIf I would have been with you that day we would both have looked like two silly snowmen on a hot summers day- just melting away (hey, that rhymed!).
The other day I was browsing through the men's section at Zara and they should think of themselves as really lucky as there are some great pieces out there for them to combine. But somehow a pack of these manly creatures manage to find the most strange clothing and accessories. So when finally out of nowhere a guy appears with a well-collaborated outfit, it's such a pleasure to see. There's still hope!
Oh, fantastic people, they all look so great!
